Cleaning out the pantry

Ok, now it probably doesn't look like I have much going in on in the way of sugar in my pantry and this is true. The simple reason for it is that I am so wary of the stuff that I exercise perfect restaint when browsing the supermarket ailes and my trolly always looks like that of a health nut. It's not until some mad craving takes a hold of me that I resort to ransacking the shelves in search of some kind of sweetness (and yes I have eaten spoonfulls of honey before) that my prior restraint pays off. Now unfortunately I happen to live very close to a 7/11 and have been known to sprint there after diner in the ad break of some stupid show, when I can no longer restrain myself. In fact these episodes are a little more common than I'd like to admit and I'm sure all the staff there think I'm a stoner on a munchy run.

So the my current pantry took very little sorting, and luckily my flatmates shelves are reletively sugarless too, because I have been known to raid their stuff occassionally as well.
Although one more comment about this, I have been very carefull to read the labels of any canned or packaged foods in case they have sugar that I don't realise is in there. I think I'll look up the consummer label regulations to see what kind of other names forms of sugar are given.
